Victoire is born! I am so happy to have one of my best friend having a baby! Perfect occasion to offer her a personalised birth announcement card! She already had strong wishes about her future card: nature & animal watercolour illustrations in a crown shape. Pairing with a nice and elegant typography, without using basic girly colours. We easily agreed on working on a square format on a nice thick texturized white paper. Unfortunately, I did not have the time & perfect skills to do the watercolours by myself. We picked up a ready-made one; and I rearranged several different elements together to create a whole new world with cute wild animals. For the back, I hand-drawned the 3 illustrations and used dark blue as well as a nice copper color - unusual tones to make it pop-out when you receive it. A little copper paperclip in a rabbit shape hangs a cute photography of Victoire, both placed in a perfect dark blue envelop and with a personalised stamp.
