Each year, Atenor is organising an impressive cocktail presenting their new projects in Belgium & abroad. It was the third invitation we made for them, a& for each of it we must find a nice new concept. For this year 2018, I proposed the concept to create a fake passport to reflect the international character of this big company. I love the idea of giving an “out of the box” invitation to the guests! Our invitation will for sure increase the chances of seeing the attendance rate go up & attract the guests curiosity! I order to imitate the look of a passport, we had to first create a “logo blazon to be used on the cover. Our intern at this time, Marie Burton made it perfectly: incorporating Atenor logo with some of the most famous building they build placed in a coat of arms. To push the realistic style even further, we add a printed leather-effect lamination & hot foil. Seems so real! The invitation text is display at the beginning of the passport, while all the further pages were design with a nice watermark (series of fine lines) to imitate a real passport. To represent each of the country where Atenor is present, we created a series of fake country stamps (including Belgium, France, Romania, Luxembourg, Poland, & Hungary). Those are “stamped” & each page represents a county. Nice feeling of traveling isn’t? As everything was send by post, I could not resist to add a personalised stamp, as a final touch. (I love it! It makes such an impression with it, & not does cost much more that a normal stamp) To pair with the invitation, we created a mailing following the passport style - informing the guest about the coming event &to tickle them before the event.
