Wedding season is coming! Meaning wedding invitations for my bestie! Olivia & Maximilien got married in June 2023 in the wonderful Kleerbeek Castel. The bride wanted a nice mix of a classical tryptic & its “loose card” with a romantic touch! I founded an amazing vintage style paper with scratched edged (vergé) at Handle. (Olivia’s dream coming true!) Verger paper is a paper that reveals thin parallel horizontal lines in the thickness of the paper - simply beautiful! For a 100% personal style, the bride gave some words for a calligraphic touch to the talented Georgia Eleanor, that I have lay-out in my design. Cherry on top: the creative bride carefully did all the golden flower decorating the invitation by hand - one by one! The use of a serif caps typography reminds a more classy style, combined with some italics sentences or words giving a more modern touch (also using only “&” sign : my favourite!!) The invitation was insert in a nice natural craft paper finished with handmade gold flower. I also designed Menu, table set or mass for a perfect for a perfect & unique day! Memories of this beautiful day were taken by the photographer Chymomore - so romantic! Next to this, in May, I was pleased to be (with my boyfriend) the civil wedding’ photographers of this fresh married couple. Sunny day with great people under a delicate decoration by the creative Daisy Poncelet. I was very honoured to capture their best moments from the preparation to the dinner!
